Younify
Younify is all about tackling the lack of diversity in the workplace. We realised that there is a lack of community for minority groups, although this is becoming more prominent, there are still too many people feeling isolated etc amongst the youth. We wanted people to feel empowered, stronger, and educated. Be able to speak their story and identify with others because this was something we felt we lacked growing up.
Our aim is threefold:
1. Empower you to tell your story
2. Harness confidence in our inner-selves
3. Educate you on issues in the workplace
We How we reached out to our audience by using social media, which we post on regularly! We created a website, podcast, instagram page and twitter to engage our audience. We also ran a survey which had 313 responses and a variety of answers related to their own experiences on discrimination and minority groups. We have keychains with eye-catching colours and also a tote bag, which are both great conversation promoters and express your statement on equality.
